FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

Go ahead and skip your workout on the day of your session—you’re going to get your steps in with me! We’ll be running through fields, playing hide-and-seek, singing silly songs, and tickling your kiddo until we get those real, joy-filled belly laughs. I know your two-year-old probably won’t sit still (because, let’s be real, do they ever?). That’s why I’m more than happy to chase after them, play along, and do whatever it takes to capture those perfectly imperfect moments that truly tell your family’s story. I captured posed and candid moments at the same time.

  • I REQUIRE A $150 DEPOSIT/RETAINER FEE UPON BOOKING AND THE REMAINING BALANCE DUE ONE DAY BEFORE THE SCHEDULES SESSION
  • LOCATION WILL BE DISCUSSED UPON BOOKING (I HAVE SOME BEAUTIFUL PLACES TO PHOTOGRAPH)
  • I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WEARING NEUTRAL COLORS AND COORDINATING OUTFITS RATHER THAN MATCHY (COORDINATING OUTFITS PHOTOGRAPHS WELL- I WILL BE SENDING OUTFIT GUIDE UPON BOOKING)

FAQ

What time do you shoot outdoors?

A.For outdoor sessions, the best lighting is one hour before sunset- there is no harsh lighting and we get to capture the golden hour!

Do I need to bring anything?

A.Just you and your family! I will be bringing a blanket and baby is under 2 I will bring something for them to sit! My session is focused on your family and not props.

What should we wear for our session?

A.Neutral tones like creams, beiges, or soft pastels photograph beautifully and allow your family’s connection to shine. Avoid busy patterns or large logos. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOMS TO WEAR A FLOWLY DRESS TO GIVE THAT FLATTERING LOOK. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to provide more personalized recommendations!

Where will the session take place?

A.We can shoot at an outdoor location, your home for a cozy lifestyle vibe, or even in my studio for a more polished look. I’ll work with you to pick a location that fits your family’s personality and style.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our session?

A.No worries! If it’s raining or too cold, we can reschedule for the next available date or switch to an indoor session. I’ll always keep you in the loop and make sure we have a backup plan in place and we can set a rain date upon booking.

What if my kids don’t cooperate?

A.That’s totally okay—and completely normal! I have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to keep things fun and lighthearted. We’ll play games, sing songs, and let them be themselves. My goal is to capture your family’s true dynamic, even the chaos that makes it special.

How far in advance should I book?

A.I recommend booking your session at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like fall or the holidays. If you have a specific date in mind, reach out early to ensure availability.

What happens after the session?

A.After your session, I will be sending you a soft proofing gallery to select your images for me to further edit within 48-72 hours from our session. After selecting your images I will edit them and you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos within 1-2 weeks.
