As we wrap up December, I’ve found myself reflecting on this incredible year and all the beautiful moments it has brought—both personally and professionally. This month has been nothing short of magical. Hosting Christmas Eve was a heartfelt experience for my family. It’s a tradition I hope to continue, as it’s one of those core memories I’m so passionate about creating for my daughter, Malaya. Watching her excitement and joy during the holiday season fills my heart in a way I can’t even describe.
On the business side, I’m blown away by what 2024 has brought to Sarah Jane Photography LLC. This was my first full year fully dedicating myself to photography while also embracing motherhood and homeschooling. To everyone who has trusted me to capture their milestones and memories—thank you. I’ve photographed an incredible 40 newborns this year, and I have one more scheduled to round it out at 41. I’ve captured 33 cake smash sessions, 42 family sessions, 8 maternity sessions, and a staggering 71 Christmas minis! Each session is a story, a connection, and a dream come true for me.
I’ve always envisioned this life, but to see it all come together still feels surreal. 2024 has been a year of growth, creativity, and gratitude. I’ve pushed myself to try new things, connect with my clients in deeper ways, and truly hone my craft. Now, as I look ahead to 2025, I can’t wait to see what’s in store. My goal is to be even more creative and intentional with every client I meet and every moment I capture. I’m also excited to expand my offerings and continue building relationships within my community.
